About Us
L.A.'S traveling baby shower is a comprehensive program designed to provide essential resources and support to underserved families expecting or caring for newborn babies. We do not travel around doing baby showers. We are traveling because we will travel to get the need to those in need, and we will shower them with love and support to get them on a path to stability.
Our purpose is to provide low-income parents with the basic needs and education for providing care for their own mental and physical state as well caring for their newborn and toddler (children).
Our mission is to bridge the gap between low-income and poverty, service the underprivileged and under-represented parents and communities, provide the advancement of education, and eliminate prejudice and discrimination.
The vision to create L.A.’S Traveling Baby Shower was birthed after seeing the need for inner-city, low-income parents to be given direction for mental and physical support and services to be able to care for their newborn babies and children. A parent can struggle with just getting the basic items needed after the birth of a child to start their journey towards parenthood.

At L.A.'S Traveling Baby Shower, we believe that every parent, regardless of their circumstances, deserves support and resources to provide the best care for their newborns and toddlers. Our mission is to bridge the gap between low-income families and poverty, serving underprivileged and under-represented parents and communities while advancing education and eliminating prejudice and discrimination.
We believe that a child’s first feeling of security is felt while they are still in the womb. When a soon to be mother is stressing because she has chosen to have a child but has no idea how she is going to provide the basic needs for that child, this can become mentally stressful.
This stress is felt by the child while still in the mother’s womb. Children can be born into the poorest of conditions but will never know that they are poor during the first several years of life if the parent can provide the basics and are in a good state mentally. Children feed off their parent’s emotions.
It is our belief that if we can help the parent connect with the right resources that are needed to care for their newborn babies and children that the parent will be in a better state of mind to care for the child, and the mother and child will both thrive in society.

What makes us different is that we're traveling to our families. What good are the resources if the people who really need them are unable to get them? That is where we come in! We will travel to you to get you the resources and the help that you need.
